PRAY

Revive believes in the power of prayer. Prayer is not ‘wishful thinking’. Prayer is not ‘hoping so’. Prayer is a conversation with a dynamic God from your heart. Prayer moves hearts. Prayer moves God’s hand. Prayer changes lives. And history. Prayer matters. Revive is a praying church. Both individually and corporately together. We pray in our worship services, at our jobs, in our homes, in our recreation and anywhere else we may happen to be. Prayer is not just for a ‘prayer service’ but for all places and times.

It is a privilege to pray. Jesus taught His disciples to pray knowing that they will be heard by their Father who is in heaven. We will pray for the needs of our church family, our community, our state, our country and our world. We know God hears and know God cares. With God there is always hope. With God there is always possibility. Sometimes God is just waiting for us to seek Him. Sometimes God just waits for us to ask Him. Will you?
