MUSIC

Music moves. Something inside of us is moved by music. It is passionate. It stirs the soul. It is inspiring. Music reaches inside a person like nothing else can. In joy. In despair. The overflowing heart is prompted to sing. Skill brings out the best in the musician and the best in the listener. Music creates an atmosphere of worship and honor. Music brings pleasure to God and pleasure to the worshiper.

The people of God sing. The people of God play instruments. Since the beginning of time people have sung songs of praise to God. It is a deep form of worship. Music from a pure heart is a pure delight. God is honored when we worship Him with all that is within us. When we sing or play an instrument it is our sacrifice of praise to God and an admission of His greatness. We are called to sing. We are called to play. We are called to worship.
